Any readers out there feeling creative? I'd really appreciate some ideas. Just had a middle school book accepted. It's an adventure story - four teens are lost in the Everglades. Fast moving and scary as there are hungry alligators and greedy animal poachers roaming the swamplands. The book presently is titled

LOST IN THE SWAMPLANDS.

I'm thinking of changing it to:
THE LOST FOUR

Or
WAKE ME IF I'M STILL ALIVE.

What do you think? Or any other suggestions?

Thank you for stopping by ...

I'm busy working on a new kids' book at the moment. Harold and the Poopy Little Puppy. It's just about to be published by TCK Publishing, Berkeley CA. What do you think of the cover? Any suggestions? I love the illustrations by clever UK artist Janet King. Writing the book is always the best part, I think. Then you have to make choices. What publisher? What cover? What marketing? Eek! And all those things require hours of work. Escaping into the writing is much more fun. And the reading. Do you love to escape into a book? And what sort of places do you like to escape to? Somewhere fun? Scary? Beautiful? Wild? Fast? Dreamy? I think scary is my favorite, though definitely not in real life. Somewhere funny is cool too, and that's where this book takes you. It's an escape into the world of a dog. And dogs are so cool and sort of earnest. And so loving. If you have funny stories about your dog, I'd love to include them in the next Harold book. Email them to me at elliecrowe1@gmail.com. And I'll be sure to mention you and your dog in the credits :)
